This new article, published in Discourse, Context & Media by Tuukka Ylä-Anttila, Gwenaëlle Bauvois and Niko Pyrhönen, studies the countermedia phenomenon particularly from the viewpoint of politicizing migration: how political countermedia re-frame news events in the contemporary hybrid media sphere to mobilize an anti-immigration agenda.
